We are a happy school that takes pride in our fully inclusive approach and our strong commitment to educating the whole child. We hope that you are able to get a sense of our fantastic school community through browsing our website. It is thanks to the supportive and strong partnership between children, parents, staff, governors and the wider community itself that we are able to achieve so much.
Visitors frequently comment on the friendly, positive and welcoming atmosphere at our school. Attendance and behaviour are excellent and we have a good reputation in both the local and wider community. We like to learn together, have fun and enjoy celebrating success.
William from 4R came to the office during breakfast club first thing this morning to share his wonderful news. His football team, the Heigham Park Rangers U9s, have won their league out of 24 teams. William really loves playing football, both in and outside of school and proudly showed off his medal. Well done William and all of your team on this great achievement. #kinsalejuniorschoolnorfolk
12 May 2025The staff and pupils would like to wish all of our Year 6 pupils well as they begin their SATs assessments today. We are very proud of the progress they have made and know that they are ready for the next 4 days. #kinsalejuniorschoolnorfolk #sats
12 May 2025For all our Year 6 parents - please share this with your children tonight or tomorrow morning. This week sees the culmination of four years worth of hard work for your children. Without exception, the children have worked very hard this year to prepare for these tests - and they are ready! All of the staff are proud of them and the effort that they have put into their work each and every day. We know that they will do their best and that is all that we ask of them. Good luck Year 6. #kinsalejuniorschoolnorfolk
11 May 2025Mr. Osborn led our celebration assembly this afternoon. Congratulations to all the Stars of the Week. All the awards were for fantastic reasons too. It is fabulous seeing KJS pupils putting in maximum effort in all areas of the curriculum. Well done to the boys from Year 3 on achieving your pen licences and our TTRS award winners too. This week there were fewer negative class chart points, which is great to report. Well done 'Jane Goodall' house, on another week of the highest class chart points. #kinsalejuniorschoolnorfolk
09 May 2025Today, the pupils and staff celebrated the 80th anniversary of Victory in Europe Day. All year groups have been learning about the significance of the day and sharing stories from their relatives too. All classes have also been creating some artwork to commemorate the day, which you can see displayed in all the windows around KJS. We have also had a VE Day celebratory picnic lunch outside in the sunshine too. #veday80 #veday80thanniversary #kinsalejuniorschoolnorfolk
